WEEPING FOR AMERICA
It is likely that you have become concerned that progressive liberals have taken over the United States. (If you don’t share that concern, turn back now – you will not like this site.) Democracy in America is now in one of its greatest moral, political, cultural and religious crises. Life now is seen through a single triangular prism with three faces: race, sex, and class. The Supreme Court in the Obergefell case, wholly aside from the merits of the petitioners, in an act of sheer madness unearthed in the now dead Constitution still another “fundamental” right for favored classes. Washington has seized so much power that the States have been reduced to puppets that must come hat in hand to the increasingly hubristic Washington bureaucracy begging permission before they act. There is no daily activity in which citizens can enjoy their life without some fool claiming to take the sugar out of pop and salt out of everything else. Gun owners are seeing the Second Amendment right to carry arms taken away – except from Muslim extremists who are committed to take our lives. Seven out of every ten lawyers in the country are Democrats; the Supreme Court has four justices from Yale and four from Harvard the most progressive illiberal universities in the country. Black lives matter except to other blacks. Planned Parenthood chops up babies and the government continues to fund it while those who reported the heinous conduct are prosecuted. Our secondary schools are world class, but unfortunately the less-developed world. President Obama was the most power mad president since Lyndon Johnson. And our current candidates for the presidency of the best country that has ever existed in the history of the world are nincompoops. College administrators and professors who teach less and less have nothing better to do than harass those who allegedly harass young girls. “Rape,” once an accusation so heinous that it challenged a mother’s love for her son, is hung on those for “unwanted touching” – be careful on the dance floor.
A treatment worthy of Hester Prynne. And you learn very little about this lust for power, this divisiveness in the name of multiculturalism, this lurch toward totalitarianism from the media that is now an agency of the U. S. government, similar to the press in other oppressive regimes, and handmaiden to the Northeast political class that daily becomes more Orwellian.
This site will offer an occasional short essay about these transgressions of what once were the rights of ordinary citizens but are fast becoming, for them, a nostalgic memory of a nation that celebrated freedom, equality, and consensual community. A government that once was trusted until it was usurped by culture-destroying fanatics. The writer is committed to remind the ordinary guy and lady that freedom has always had a high price, but it doesn’t mean you cannot afford it. I intend to keep you advised on how freedom is lost – meanwhile, I remain, weeping for America.
